Page 30 - December 12th

Thursday Dec 12th Another of the dull cold days. Nothing unusual happened today.

When you think about it, these weeks after the Armistice must have been difficult for the soldiers. The fighting was over, but they were still in a state of readiness in the battlefields with no idea of when they might get to return home.

Tuesday Dec 12th - a bit of the 'nothing unusual happened' going on here, too. Showers are still being predicted, but not arriving.
